This notice explains how John Clarke, trading as EXIMIUS / Eximius Fitness Therapy (“I”, “me”), uses personal information. I am the data controller. Contact: john@eximiusfitnesstherapy.com or +44 7786 919385.
What I collect
- Details you send when you email, call, or text — typically your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to tell me about your training or health.
- If you become a member, session notes, readings, and programme details needed to coach you.
- Anonymous website use via Plausible Analytics: page URL, referrer, browser, and device type. Plausible does not use cookies and does not identify you.
This website has no contact form and does not set marketing cookies.
Why I use it
To reply to enquiries, provide coaching, keep session records, and understand which pages are used. Legal bases under UK GDPR: steps toward a contract or performing a contract; legitimate interests in running and improving the practice; and consent where you ask me to share information with someone else.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your data. I only share it when needed to run the service (for example an email host), when you ask me to, or when the law requires it. Health details stay between us unless you ask otherwise. The member app at info.eximiusfitnesstherapy.com is a separate login and has its own processing.
How long I keep it
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and, if we work together, for the coaching relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for records and insurance. You can ask me to delete what I hold, subject to any legal duty to retain it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, corrections, deletion, or a restriction on how I use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
This site
Pages are served as a static website. I use Plausible for cookie-free analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. I do not run advertising pixels.
